How to Read The Arcady at Boon Keng Balance Unit Chart

Every unit number takes the form #level-stack. In #22-07, the 22 is the storey and the 07 is the stack, so that is the unit on the 22nd storey of stack 07. The Arcady is a single 24-storey block with nine stacks, numbered 01 to 09, and apartments run from Level 3 to Level 24.

Stacks 08, 09, 01 and 02 form the north band, with stack 08 and stack 02 at the corners. Stacks 07, 06, 05, 04 and 03 form the south band, with stack 07 and stack 03 at the corners.

The chart has several gaps in it, and none of them is a printing fault. Each one is a real feature of the building:

Levels 1, 2 and 14 carry no apartments at all. Level 1 is the Garden and Landscape Deck, Level 2 is the first Sky Terrace and Level 14 is the second. Level 14 is also why the numbering steps straight from 13 to 15, so there is no Level 14 row to look for.
Stack 06 stops at Level 13. It carries Type A1, the 1 Bedroom + Study, and it is the shortest column in the building. Everything above Level 13 in that column is blank because those units do not exist, which is why there are only 11 Type A1 units in the development.
Level 15 holds only five units. Stacks 01, 02, 03, 07 and 08 continue through it; stacks 04, 05, 06 and 09 have no Level 15 unit.
Level 24 holds only four units, at #24-02, #24-03, #24-07 and #24-08. Only the four corner stacks reach the top floor.
Three stacks change unit type partway up. Stack 01 carries Type B1 throughout except at Level 15, where that single position becomes the development’s only Type C2. Stack 04 runs Type B4 to Level 13 and Type B4A from Level 16. Stack 07 runs Type C3 to Level 13, Type D1 from Level 15 to Level 23, then Penthouse P1 at Level 24. Two entries in the same column with different type labels are correct.

The arithmetic closes. Nine stacks across Levels 3 to 13 gives 99 units, Level 15 adds 5, eight stacks across Levels 16 to 23 add 64, and Level 24 adds 4. That is 172, which is the whole development.
